Could your false beliefs actually become iron bars? Josh Billing once purposed this same line of thinking in a quote that has been morphed down through the decades: “It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.”

Regardless of whatever morphing this quote may have endured, it has merit. The principle aptly applies to what so many of us experience with regard to our fundamental beliefs about God and what we understand to be the requirements God may be demanding of us. But what if what you know about God … just ain’t so?
